Oslo to Istanbul via the Arctic Circle

My name is Carl Cartlidge and I hail from Stoke-on-Trent, England. This summer I have decided to take the plunge and do something different.

On June 8th 2008 me and my bike Anna land in Norway with the aim of making it to Istanbul for early September. The first 2000 miles are going to be solo, ridden by me only and once I reach Tampere, Finland, Lee Barber will join me for the final 2000 miles on his bike Dorian.
